Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using HomeEase ("the Platform") at househelp.services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

2. Services

HomeEase is an online marketplace that connects customers seeking domestic help services with independent service providers ("Helpers"). HomeEase facilitates bookings but is not itself a domestic help employer.

3. User Accounts

• You must provide a valid Indian mobile number for OTP verification.
• You are responsible for all activity under your account.
• You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Platform.

4. Bookings & Payments

• All payments are processed securely via Razorpay.
• HomeEase charges a platform fee of 5% on each booking.
• Cancellations must be made at least 2 hours before the scheduled service.
• Refunds are processed within 5–7 business days to the original payment method.

5. Helper Conduct

Helpers are independent contractors. HomeEase verifies identity but does not guarantee the outcome of any service. Users are encouraged to review helpers and report any issues to support.

6. Prohibited Activities

• Sharing false information or impersonating others.
• Using the Platform for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempting to circumvent the Platform's payment system.

7. Limitation of Liability

HomeEase is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the Platform or services booked through it.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Uttar Pradesh.
